New Exponential Logo

by Martin on Apr.06, 2010, under Exponential Brand, Pieces of Design, Portfolio

Had a bit of fun re-vamping my previous Exponential designs.

I’ve made it a bit cooler, with the feel of a snow sports brand. This logo has more of a powerful identity. I might get this one printed on a t-shirt actually sincemy last one turned out great!

Sonic Soundz Project – I

by Martin on Apr.01, 2010, under Portfolio, Web Design

I’ve started re-designing the website of Sonic Soundz, a Nottingham mobile DJ.

In order to do so, I have started coming up with some logo ideas which I can incorporate into the site.

Here are some initial ones. I’m not sure if I like them as a final logo, but it’s something to develop.
They’re a work in-progress:

Sonic Soundz - Logo 1
Sonic Soundz - Logo 2
Sonic Soundz - Logo 3

New done

by Martin on Mar.28, 2010, under Blog, Portfolio, Web Design

I’ve been working on a site for a local Nottingham digital aerials company. It’s now on-line!

…after encountering the issue of limited web server features (ie, no php support) I had to adjust the code and couldn’t use a contact form. I reluctantly opted for just an email link cloaked by javascript. It’s just a small site to replace the old one, and we’re already seeing pleasing results on Google Analytics!

Anyway, it’s now online at Aerial Force.

My next project is a new site for a Nottingham mobile disco business.

by Martin on Mar.16, 2010, under Portfolio, Web Design

At the moment, the website for Nottingham A/V service company, Aerial Force is not well optimised at all…

It doesn’t appear anywhere near the top of Google for relevant keywords…Never fear, I’m re-designing it and I plan to make it a good contender for a similar, bigger company who also use ‘Aerial Force’. Bit of a business faux-pas if you ask me; to steal the name of a smaller company.

Aerial Force Layout

I came up with this initial layout, opting for a premium feel with dark grey and deep red. I’ll code this up and hopefully get much better conversion and more enquiries from the site.
